Files

Upload, organize or select files allowed for the current owner.

Step-by-step guide

Before you start

Use the account and workspace that own the records. This page does not include administrator configuration forms.

Open this feature

Open /portal/files on your application domain, or use the matching item in the application menu.

Steps

Example: create a folder and upload one file

  1. Open Files in the workspace that should own the file.
  2. Select New folder. Enter Test files in Folder name and add a Note if needed.
  3. Select Create Folder and open the folder you just created.
  4. Select Upload files and choose a small test file allowed by the file picker. Upload starts automatically after selection; there is no separate save step for this upload flow.
  5. Wait for the upload to finish, close the upload dialog and check that the file appears in the current folder.
  6. Open its preview or download action. Confirm the file belongs to this workspace.

Rename the folder

  1. Open the folder’s edit/rename control.
  2. Change Folder name and the optional Note.
  3. Select Save changes and verify the new name in Files.

Fields shown in the interface

Only fields traced to this role’s handler and its own view are listed. The application can show separate create/edit forms; do not fill every row on one screen.

Check the result

After a source-checked procedure, verify the same record in the same workspace. Check saved values, visible state and access with the intended test account. An external payment/message/provider action needs its own result check.
