Groups
Read or manage the records shown by this feature.
Step-by-step guide
Before you start
Use the account and workspace that own the records. This page does not include administrator configuration forms.
Open this feature
Open /portal/groups on your application domain. The tasks below name the controls to use after opening the page.
Steps
Connect the channels you intend to group first. Use the correct workspace and an account allowed to manage channels.
Create a channel group
- Open Groups and select Create group.
- Enter Test launch accounts in Group name. Choose an Accent color and set Status to Active.
- In Accounts, select the connected accounts that belong in this group. Use the network filters if needed.
- Add an optional Description such as Accounts used for the test campaign.
- Select Create Group. Find the new group and check its selected accounts.
Update a group
- Use Edit on the intended group.
- Change the name, status, description or account selection. Removing an account from this selection changes the group membership.
- Select Update Group and reopen the group to verify the saved selection.
Fields shown in the interface
| Field or setting | What to enter or choose |
|---|---|
| Group name | Required, maximum 120 characters. |
| Accent color | Choose a color for this group. |
| Status | Active or Inactive. |
| Accounts | Choose accounts accessible to the current workspace. This groups existing channels; it does not connect a new provider account. |
| Description | Optional internal note, maximum 1,000 characters. |
Check the result
- The group contains only the accounts you selected.
- Creating a group does not schedule or publish a post.
Problems and validation
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| No matching channels found | Clear network/search filters or connect an account using Connect a channel. |
| An account cannot be saved | Confirm that the workspace can access that channel. |
| You cannot save the group | The source checks channel-management access; ask the workspace owner to review your role. |
