Steps

Confirm the actual order, customer, product and licensed entitlement before creating a record. This admin form records license information; entering Envato as Source does not itself verify a marketplace purchase.

Create a license record

1. Open Licenses and select Create new.
2. Choose License Type: Regular or Extended, based on the actual purchased entitlement. Choose the correct Source: Direct or Envato.
3. Choose Status deliberately. For an unapproved draft/test record, use Disable.
4. Use Assign User to select the intended customer, then select Product. Check the customer identity before continuing.
5. Enter the required Username and Purchase code. Use the real order record for a real license; use isolated test data only in a test installation.
6. Choose Purchase Date and Support Expired Date from the agreed purchase/support terms. Do not accept the form’s suggested support date without checking it.
7. Fill optional Version, Domain, Website and IP Address only when you have the correct values.
8. Select Save changes. Find the record and use Edit to verify the product, assigned customer, status and dates.

Correct an existing license

1. Use Edit on the intended license record.
2. Change only the values supported by the order or the approved correction.
3. Select Save changes and reopen the record to confirm it.
4. Reset license is a separate action that clears domain, website and IP. Do not use it merely to refresh the record.

Fields shown in the interface

Check the result

• The saved record is attached to the intended customer and product with correct dates and status.
• External purchase verification and customer activation require separate checks.
