Before you start

Use the account and workspace that own the records. This page does not include administrator configuration forms.

Open this feature

Open /portal/profile on your application domain. The tasks below name the controls to use after opening the page.

Sign in with the account you want to edit. Profile changes apply to that account. Email and username editing depend on the site policy.

Open Profile and select Personal information. Enter the intended Display name, for example Test User on a test account.
Choose Preferred language and Timezone from the available lists. A placeholder such as Select language is not a language choice.
If changing the profile photo, choose a JPG, JPEG, PNG or WebP image no larger than 2 MB.
Change Username or Email only when the form allows it. Use an address you control.
Select Save changes. Reload Profile and check the saved name, language, timezone and photo.

Select Security. In the password form, enter Current password if the form requests it.
Enter your new password privately in New password and repeat it in Confirm new password. Follow the validation shown by the form.
Select Update password. Check the success message before leaving the page.

Field or setting	What to enter or choose
Display name	Required; up to 255 characters.
Preferred language	Choose an installed language. Availability depends on the site language setup.
Timezone	Choose your actual scheduling timezone from the list.
Username / Email	Editable only when the site permits the change. A new value must satisfy the form and be unique.
Profile photo	Optional JPG/JPEG/PNG/WebP, maximum 2 MB.
Password fields	Use the separate password form. Confirm new password must match New password.

After reloading, the profile form contains the values you saved.
A successful profile save does not prove that a password change was saved; the two forms submit separately.

Problem	What to do
Email or username is locked	This is controlled by the site policy. Contact the administrator if the account details need correction.
Timezone is rejected	Select an offered timezone instead of typing an abbreviation.
Password change is rejected	Check the current password, confirmation and password rules shown by this installation.
