Step-by-step guide
Before you start
Use the account and workspace that own the records. This page does not include administrator configuration forms.
Open this feature
Open /portal/ai-studio/image on your application domain. The tasks below name the controls to use after opening the page.
Steps
The image feature, AI provider and applicable credit allowance must be available. Generating an image can use credits and call the configured provider.
Generate one image
- Open AI Image. Enter a Visual brief describing the subject, background, composition and any text requirements.
- For example: One red ceramic mug on a white desk, daylight, square composition, no text.
- Choose Style and Aspect ratio from the available options. Check the displayed credit requirement.
- Select Generate image once and wait for the result or error.
- Review the generated image for the intended subject and dimensions. Select Download when the result is available.
- To review an earlier result, select its entry in the job/history list instead of generating another image.
Fields shown in the interface

| Visual brief | Required, up to 4,000 characters. Describe the actual image you need. |
| Style | Choose an offered style; provider support depends on the installation. |
| Aspect ratio | Choose the shape needed for the destination. |
| Credit requirement | Check the shown cost/allowance before generating. A disabled generation control may indicate insufficient credits. |
Check the result
- A result appears for the submitted brief and can be downloaded.
- Check the downloaded file. A saved job or history entry alone does not prove that the image meets the request.
Problems and validation
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| Generate image is unavailable | Check feature access, the credit preview and the administrator’s provider setup. |
| Provider request fails | Read the visible error before retrying. Repeated generation can submit further provider requests. |
| Image is unsuitable | Revise the brief or settings and generate again only when another request is intended. |
