How to use it

Create a link and test it

1. Open /portal/short-links/create. Enter Name and Destination URL.
2. Use Folder, Campaign and Tags to organize the link when needed. Enter an optional Custom alias, such as spring-offer, only if it is available.
3. Review Brand domain, UTM preset and Tracking pixels. Leave a choice at None/default when you do not intend to attach that asset.
4. Set expiry, click limit or password only if the destination should be restricted. Review the final settings before selecting Create short link.
5. Copy the created short URL and open it in a separate browser session. Check the final destination and any password/access prompt.

Edit a destination or preview

1. Open /portal/short-links, find the exact link and open its Edit action.
2. Change the destination or access settings you intend to modify, then select Save changes.
3. For social-preview information, open Link preview info. Use Fetch metadata if desired, inspect the returned title/description/image, then select Save preview.
4. Reopen the existing short URL and verify the change. A social network can cache an earlier preview; a saved preview does not guarantee immediate refresh on every platform.

Fields and examples

Check your finished result

• Open the public short URL and verify destination/access behavior.
• Reopen Edit to compare the saved settings.
