Fill the content for a QR type

Build the content a QR code opens, such as contact information, a menu, product cards or a lead form. This is separate from styling the QR image.

Step-by-step guide

Before you start

Create/select the correct QR campaign first. Its type decides which content fields appear.
Prepare the real contact details, links, files or products before filling the form. Do not publish sample personal information.

Open this feature

Select the intended record from QR Type Builder. Its detail/edit address follows /portal/qr-codes/{qrCode}/type-content. Use the application’s record link; do not type a placeholder such as {id}.

Choose a task

Open the intended campaign and choose Edit content, or continue to its content builder immediately after selecting a QR type.
Complete the fields displayed for that type. For a simple URL type, use the real destination. For a profile/contact type, enter the actual name and contact fields shown.
Use Add when the type allows repeated items such as links, products or form fields. Fill each item’s visible label and value/URL.
For a product item, review Product name, Price, Product URL, image and Short description. For a form field, choose Field label, Type and Required as intended.
If page templates are offered for this type, choose a layout and inspect its preview. Select Save content.
Use View to inspect the public result. Follow Design QR or Back to QR design to return to image design and export.

Open Edit content for the same QR. Locate the correct repeated item by its label/name.
Change its fields, or choose that item’s Remove control if it should be omitted.
Select Save content, reload the builder and check the public View again.

Field or choice	How to use it
QR type	Determines the field schema; changing a website URL does not turn it into a different structured type.
Repeated links	Use a reader-facing Label and a complete URL. Example label: Book a table.
Product fields	Use actual product details and the intended product destination. A price field is content display, not proof of a configured payment checkout.
Form fields	Set a clear label, a supported input Type and the Required state that matches the information you need.
Page template	Only offered for supported public-page types. Preview it with real-length content on a phone.

Reopen the builder to check the saved fields and repeated items.
Open the public view and test each link/contact action; scan the QR to reach the same result.

What you see	What to do next
Content builder is unavailable	The account/plan must allow type builders and the QR type must have a supported schema.
Removed item still appears publicly	Save content, then reload the public view. Check that you edited the correct campaign.
The menu/profile is incomplete after bulk creation	Bulk rows provide only name, type and URL. Complete the structured fields here before distributing the code.
