Read QR scan analytics
Inspect recorded QR activity for the selected period and, when needed, a single campaign. Use it to compare recorded visits rather than assume every camera scan is observable.
Step-by-step guide
Before you start
- Choose the correct workspace and know which campaign you want to examine.
- Use a QR route that passes through the application when testing recorded activity; opening a final destination directly is a different request.
Open this feature
- Open /portal/qr-codes/analytics on your site.
How to use it
Choose a task
Read a campaign report
- Open /portal/qr-codes/analytics for the workspace overview, or open Analytics from the intended QR campaign.
- Check whether the report is for all campaigns or one campaign. Review From and To, then select Apply.
- Read the totals and available time, country, device or source breakdowns in that same scope.
- For a controlled check, scan the intended QR on a separate device, then reload the matching campaign report and period. Test traffic is still traffic; do not mistake it for a customer conversion.
- Use Reset to return from a custom date filter when comparing another period.
Fields and examples
| Field or choice | How to use it |
|---|---|
| From / To | Choose the date range you intend to inspect, then Apply. Keep the period the same when comparing totals. |
| Campaign scope | A campaign-specific report is not the same as the workspace-wide report. |
| Breakdowns | Read the metric labels and empty states. Device/geographic attribution depends on available request data. |
Check your finished result
- Verify the selected campaign and dates before interpreting a count.
- Use the exported/public QR route for a test instead of opening its destination URL directly.
Problems and fixes
| What you see | What to do next |
|---|---|
| No activity appears | Check campaign scope, date range and the route the QR actually encodes. A static/direct destination can bypass the application’s recorded route. |
| Counts differ from another analytics tool | Check each tool’s event definition, filters and date range. Do not assume the totals measure the same behavior. |
