Generate an image and find it in Files

Generate an image from a visual brief, inspect its result and use the saved file in a supported page or editor.

Step-by-step guide

Before you start

The feature must be enabled and an administrator must configure its provider when required. Check available credits before starting a generation.
Use content you are allowed to process. Generated output needs your review before it is used publicly.

Open this feature

Choose a task

Open /portal/ai-studio/image. In What should the image show?, describe the subject, composition and background.
For a first example, describe a cup of coffee on a plain light background with space for a headline; supply your own brand-specific facts rather than assume the image model knows them.
Choose Visual style and the aspect ratio that matches the intended placement. Offered ratios in this version are 1:1, 4:5, 16:9 and 9:16.
Select Generate image. Wait for the result and inspect text, logos, proportions and unwanted details.
Use Download image for a local copy or Open in Files to inspect/use the stored asset in an editor.

Field or choice	How to use it
What should the image show?	Required prompt, up to 4,000 characters.
Visual style	Choose an offered style such as Product, Lifestyle, Editorial, Minimal or Cinematic.
Aspect ratio	Choose for the intended placement; changing it later can alter composition or cropping.
Files access	Image generation requires the relevant AI and Files access, not only a visible AI menu.

Inspect the downloaded/stored image and preview it in the actual destination layout.

What you see	What to do next
Generation is forbidden	Check both AI edit access and Files edit access with the workspace owner.
Image is distorted or contains incorrect text	Refine the prompt or regenerate, then inspect the new result.
Image was generated but not added to my page	Choose it from Files in the page/editor; these are separate actions.
